Guys! This was my first shoot for the blog! It was so much fun. I met with Tenneal of In11Views Photography and had the best time. We hung out at the National Portrait Gallery one Sunday morning and captured this cute, casual outfit featuring J.Crew, Madewell, and Anthropologie. A triple win in my world! This is definitely an outfit I could see wearing during this crazy transition from winter to spring.
Oh you now...just letting the wind do it's thing in my favorite cozy sweater! A sweater that is a hand-me-down from my Mom! Yep. She has amazing style. It's the Ryder sweater by Madewell and once it comes in stock in my size and color, I'm getting another one. It is absolutely soft, warm, and slouchy without being sloppy. The whole thing has this great stretch to it so it is easily worn it over anything. (Including those cute ruffle sleeves, which are popping up everywhere right now!) While not the most glamorous thing to feature, it's so necessary! At the end of the day, a girl's gotta have that one sweater to wear with anything and it can look cute.
And let's be real- this whole outfit is made by these embroidered booties by Jeffrey Campbell. The details on them are incredible. Overall, I tend to go for more simple tops without any patterns, so shoes can really change the whole look. These booties made me feel so feminine and fun. I love 'em! While I could not find the exact ones online anymore, I bet there will be plenty coming out for spring.
