These dark chocolate pancakes, raspberries, and maple syrup are a perfect Valentine's (or anytime) Day treat. We made them over the weekend because I wanted to test out the heart pancake molds before I shared the link with you guys. The reviews were really mixed but the ones linked below work really well. And the dark chocolate Kodiak cake pancake mix made these extra addicting!
We cooked these in our cast iron pan and saved a bunch in the fridge to warm up later. They warm up really well in the toaster and the heart size is perfect for on-the-go.
One year for Max's birthday, I made him a pancake-cake for breakfast with candles on top. It was a hit! And our very first breakfast as a married couple was homemade lemon-ricotta pancakes with raspberries on top. And here we are making more pancakes and this time for our baby, too. True love!
